Ἓν οἶδα ὅτι οὐδὲν οἶδα
“I know that I know nothing”
Socrates (Σωκράτης; * Alopeke, Athens, 469 b.C.; † Athens, 399 b.C.).

My story begins in the 1960s in southern Europe, where I, Damoklés Iéros Héllen (Δαμοκλής Ιέρος Ἕλλην [ðamoˈklis iˈeros ˈelen]) – also known as Ricky – was born and completed my schooling until I graduated from high school.
After completing my military service in my home country, I began my professional career, which later led me to Germany, where I completed a university degree.
Over the course of my life, I have developed a wide range of interests, including psychology, sociology, multicultural work, project management, and a passion for traveling by motorcycle and car.
I have been able to explore North America, large parts of North and Central Africa, and all of Europe.
Today, divorced and the father of three children, I live and work in Germany – and look forward to my life’s chapters ahead.
